Health literacy in the United States is a serious problem. For example, about half of Americans do not take prescription medication as instructed, and many possess limited health literacy skills.

Anaheim Ducks offensive star, George Parros once again generously chose The Childhood Leukemia Foundation to be the recipient of the proceeds for his annual Cuts for the Kids program in Huntington Beach California.

Cooper Gets His Wish Basket! This is Cooper. Cooper was diagnosed in April 2010. Said Mom, “He really got excited about his toys, games and gift card and it made one of the longer days at the hospital a fun time for both of us."
