Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a national organization dedicated to eliminating pediatric cancer and providing hope and support to those who are touched by it. Our mission is carried out through three unique programs which include the Bear Hugs Program, Bear Discoveries and Bear Empowerment.
Founded in 2005, the Hair Foundation is the only charitable, 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization committed to providing expert and scientific information on hair loss and overall hair health to the public through education and outreach. Hair Foundation shares CLF’s belief, that hair loss can be a very emotional experience for those fighting this disease. We are proud to have been the recipient of generous donations of hair products which we include in our Hug u Wear shipments.
Since 1837, P&G (Proctor & Gamble) has built a rich heritage of touching consumers’ lives with brands that make life a little better every day. In fact 4.2 Billion times a day P&G brands touch the lives of people around the world. Because of their generosity, CLF’s Hug u Wear shipments and Wish Baskets contain hair and personal products donated by P & G.
Wigs 4 Kids is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that reaches out to kids and young adults with hair loss. Their main focus is on cancer patients and includes other young people with similar appearance related challenges. CLF is proud to partner with them to impact even more lives of children with hair loss thru its Hug-U-Wear Program.
Stache Gear is a clothing line of hats and shirts for both men and women created by Anaheim Duck’s, right wing player, George Parros. All of the proceeds benefit Childhood Leukemia Foundation as well as one other charity. This most generous support from George allows CLF to continue to improve the lives of many children with cancer.
CIGNA Foundation is a private foundation funded by contributions from CIGNA Corporation and its subsidiaries. CIGNA Foundation supports organizations sharing its commitment to enhancing the health of individuals and families, and the well being of their communities. CIGNA Foundation has teamed up with the Childhood Leukemia Foundation to offer CLF’s Hope Binder free of charge to parents of children with cancer at over 160 hospitals nationwide. By providing this generous grant to CLF it will now be possible to get the Hope Binders into the hands of parents of newly diagnosed cancer victims. They have also provided a copy of the video game Re-Mission which is a tool to help young people better manage their health while undergoing cancer treatment.
The mission of the Tony Stewart Foundation is to raise and donate funds to help care for critically ill children, drivers injured in motorsports activities and to support other charitable organizations. The Board of the Tony Stewart Foundation follows a process of scoring all applicants based on overall merit and project strength. “We’re proud to recognize the work being done by Childhood Leukemia Foundation!” CLF is proud to have been chosen as the recipient of this charitable grant.
The purpose of The Provident Bank Foundation is to provide funding in support of charitable causes and community development activities in communities served by The Provident Bank throughout New Jersey. CFC is the world’s largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with more than 200 CFC campaigns throughout the country and internationally to help to raise millions of dollars each year.
