Free Emotional & Educational Support for Kids With Cancer

Because kids can't fight cancer alone.

Since 1992, CLF4Kids has helped children and young adults facing cancer stay connected, continue learning, and experience moments of joy throughout treatment. Our programs support the emotional and educational needs of pediatric oncology patients and are always provided 100% free to children and families.

Helping children feel connected, supported, and still like kids

Cancer treatment can interrupt school, friendships, celebrations, routines, and the everyday experiences that make childhood feel normal. CLF4Kids helps fill those gaps through free programs designed to encourage learning, ease isolation, create positive moments, and remind children and families that they are not facing cancer alone.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, CLF4Kids works with hospitals, healthcare professionals, parents, and caregivers to reach eligible pediatric oncology patients throughout the United States..

STEAM Ahead Basket

STEAM Ahead Basket

The STEAM Ahead Basket brings together a brand-new Apple iPad with age-appropriate puzzles, games, and hands-on activities focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Designed for children in cancer treatment, this program turns difficult hospital days into opportunities for discovery, imagination, and skill-building. Each basket encourages problem-solving, creativity, fine motor development, and continues learning while offering a meaningful break from boredom, stress, and anxiety.

Keeping Kids Connected iPad

Keeping Kids Connected iPad

The Keeping Kids Connected iPad Program gives children in treatment the gift of connection when they need it most. A free Apple iPad helps them stay in touch with parents, siblings, grandparents, classmates, and friends through FaceTime, messages, schoolwork, games, and familiar everyday activities. This program helps reduce loneliness, bring comfort, and restore a sense of normalcy, reminding children that even during treatment, they are still connected to the people and world they love.

Educational Wish Basket

Educational Wish Basket

The Educational Wish Basket offers children a thoughtful mix of age-appropriate puzzles, games, creative projects, and learning activities, along with an Amazon Fire Kindle as the technology component. Each basket is designed to keep young minds active and engaged while supporting creativity, critical thinking, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills. During long days of treatment or recovery, these activities provide a calming distraction, ease anxiety, and give children something positive to focus on, complete, and enjoy.

Birthday and Celebration Box

Birthday & Celebration Boxes

The Birthday Box Program celebrates a child's special day during treatment with balloons, a banner, crown, a birthday button, and a cookie treat. It honors each birthday as a milestone of courage and a celebration of life.

The Celebration Box Program honors a child's end of treatment milestone, marking the transition from patient to survivor. Each box includes celebratory items like, a bell, confetti popper, beaded bracelet, and a Star Dedication Certificate, recognizing their strength, resilience, and incredible achievement.

A Story of Hope

"Dear CLF4Kids, we thank you so much for the iPad as it's helped boost her mood. During chemotherapy it gives her something to enjoy and distract her. We are very grateful!"
